寺園　聖市

肖像画を得意とし、パステル、アクリルを主に用いる。
彼の描くキャラクターは強い意思を持つと同時に脆弱も併せ持ち、また作者の死生観が垣間見える。
作者は、表面に現れるリアリズムではなく、心の内のリアリズムに目を向け、「創造的プロセスから思考を捉える」という概念を探求している。

Seiichi Terazono
He is good at portrait, mainly using pastel and acrylic.
His artwork has strong intentions as well as weaknesses at the same time, and a glimpse of the author’s view of life and death.
The author is not looking at the realism that appears on the surface but looking to the realism within the mind and exploring the concept of “capturing thought from the creative process”.

人物画を得意とし、主に自身をモチーフとしながらも普遍的な人間の本質を探求している。
複雑に構成された空間に描かれたキャラクターは匿名性の点でぼやけているにもかかわらず、強い個性を放っている。
描かれた人物からは美しさと同時に心理的不安を感じさせる。

Daisei Terazono
I am good at portrait painting and exploring the essence of universal human beings, mainly using themselves as a motif.
Despite being blurred in terms of anonymity, motifs drawn in a complexly structured space emanate strong personality.
From the drawn figure make you feel psychological anxiety as well as beauty.
